The 2019 Annual Meeting will be held on
Sunday, November 17,
from 9:00 am to 10:20 am,
in the Nave.
On November 17th we will gather in the Nave, between the services, to elect a Senior and a Junior Warden, three people to serve on the Vestry, four people to represent us at Diocesan Convention, and one person to serve on the Endowment Committee.
We will hear an update on the Stewardship Campaign and review the draft 2020 budget.
We will receive reports from the Endowment Committee and from the Trustees of the Columbarium, and we we will receive an update on our Outreach efforts of the last year.
And we will have an opportunity to help shape the coming year by engaging in conversation about the following two questions:
What do you need from our Church Community?
What does our church community have to offer the community
There will be a children's program in the Parish Hall, a visit from a herpetologist and her reptilian and amphibious friends. (If it slithers around on its belly, a herpetologist will know what it is.)
The agenda is packed. There is a lot to do. So it is important that we all come prepared. Please take some time to review the materials below. There are hard copies available in the church. It is especially important that you review the slate of candidates and their responses to the Candidate Questionnaire. The first thing we will do at the Annual Meeting, once we are organized for business, is to cast the first ballot.
The Annual Meeting is an important event in the life of an Episcopal Parish. Over the past several weeks we have been hearing from members of our parish family about the moments they went from "me" to "we." The Annual Meeting is a moment when we all make that move together. Please plan to join us!
