Held during our formation hour (9:30am-10:15am), church school offers children ages 3 through fifth grade the chance to build friendships with other children, get creative through a variety of projects and engage with Bible stories in age-appropriate ways.
Our Music Director, Ken Stancer, leads 15 minutes of joyful song that just may include instruments. Families meet up around the organ to sing together from 9:15am-9:30am.
Lectors and Acolytes
Children in third grade and up are invited to participate as leaders in our Sunday worship services through acolyting and serving as lectors. Training is offered for both roles, and mistakes are expected!
Who am I? Where is God? What do I believe? Becoming and being a teen can be a time filled with transition – not only with new schools or new responsibilities, but also with new understandings of God, new questions about faith, and new opportunities to live out one’s beliefs. During this critical time in a young person’s spiritual life, the Youth Group is a place where youth can feel welcome, safe, and valued. Here the youth will explore their relationship with God and with the Church, We will ask questions, learn new spiritual practices, and put our faith in action through service. We will work to establish a sense of community by developing closer relationships with each other. The youth meet from 9:30am-10:15am.
