Children and Youth
At St. Andrew's, our deep commitment to respecting and valuing all persons extends joyfully to the youngest members of our congregation. We strive to offer a caring environment where children can find ways to know God, ask questions and grow into faith.
We are currently in the process of retooling our Children and Youth programming to relaunch this fall.
A survey of Church School and Youth Group families indicated a preference for twice a month Church School, with start and end times overlapping with the Liturgy of the Word, so that kids will rejoin their parents at the Peace. The expressed preference was for monthly Youth Group events, happening on Sunday evenings.
These parameters represent a shift from past history, and we are still working out details. Please check back in mid August for updates.
