During the 10:30 Liturgy of the Word in the sanctuary, young children create their own Liturgy of the Word in a corner of the parish hall. Children volunteer for roles such as acolyte, altar guild, Bible carrier, crucifer, song leader, and usher. They worship through movement and song, and hear and discuss the Gospel proclamation of the day. There may be time for a brief craft or project. Children join their parents in the sanctuary at the Offertory (around 11:10-11:15) so the family may receive communion together.
We offer Children's Chapel from mid-September to late May.
