From Kate Bowler and the Everything Happens Project
Lent is almost here—the season of ashes, honesty, and the uncomfortable truth that life feels held together with chewing gum and prayer. (Or maybe that’s just me?)
It’s not a season for easy answers or skipping to the good part. It’s the time when we get honest about what we’re carrying—the grief we’d rather avoid, the regrets we can’t shake—and notice how grace has a way of sneaking in through the cracks.
