As we observe this Holy Day that marks our entry into the season of Lent, our desire is to offer opportunities for worship on this day that are familiar, meaningful, authentic to our tradition, safe if this time of pandemic and accessible to all.

Ashes to Go

Ashes at Home
Use the ashes included in this mailing for an at home imposition of ashes. Ashes will be mailed to all households on the parish mailing list. Contact the church office if you would like to be put on this list. |

How to Participate in Ashes-to-Go
The clergy will be in the nave for one hour at 7am, noon and 7pm to impose ashes. Please know that this is not a full liturgical service, but an opportunity to receive prayer and the imposition of ashes. Only one household will be allowed in the nave at a given time. We anticipate each household will take five minutes to receive ashes and move through the nave, so a line outside should move quickly.
In order to prevent the spread of COVID and in adherence with the guidelines provided by the Diocesan Way Forward Task Force, all who participate in Ashes-to-Go at St. Andrew's will be required to:

- Wear a face mask at all times
- Arrive at the Regent Street door (sanctuary doors) and wait for a clergy person to let you into the building
- Exit through the Roby Road door
- Maintain a distance of 10 feet from all individuals
- Provide full name, phone number and complete COVID symptom form indicating that you are not running a fever and have not been exposed to COVID in the last two weeks to the best of your knowledge
