The Rev. Andy JonesRectorFather Andy came to Madison in 2006 to become the tenth Rector of St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church. Fr. Andy grew up in the Maryland suburbs of Washington DC and graduated from Juniata College in 1982 with a BA in music and philosophy. He has worked as a professional musician, as a guitar and violin repairman, and as a sign language interpreter. He was a stay at home dad for seven years before entering The Virginia Theological Seminary where he graduated with honors in 2002. Before coming to Madison he served at All Saints Episcopal Church in Frederick Maryland as the Assistant to the Rector. Fr. Andy and his wife Suzanne have been married for thirty three years and have two sons. He enjoys playing the guitar, fly fishing, and tai chi.

Ken StancerMusic DirectorKen has served St. Andrew’s as music director and organist since August 2002. Ken received a Bachelor of Music degree from UW-Whitewater in 1986 and a Master of Music degree from UW-Madison in 2002. He teaches organ and recorder privately, and also teaches Suzuki piano at the Monroe Street Arts Center in Madison. He is also active as a celtic harpist, playing concerts with Alice Kissling at assisted living facilities in the Madison area. Ken is a member of the American Guild of Organists, the International Society of Folk Harpers and Craftsmen, and the Suzuki Association of the Americas. Outside of music, his interests are swimming, biking, environmental protection issues, gardening and healthy and eco-friendly living.

Dylan Thomas is a resident of Edgerton, WI, where he lives with his husband David. He is a Ph.D. student studying global leadership at St. Mary-of-the-Woods College (Indiana) and has a special interest in intercultural mentoring and employee resource groups. He is a member of the International Leadership Association and co-facilitated a graduate-student roundtable at their 2022 Virtual Summit on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
