Worship

Worship is at the heart of who we are at St. Andrew's. In our shared worship we renew our connection to God, to one another and to the world around us. Wherever you are on your journey of faith, we invite you to join us.
COVID-19 Precautions

In July 2021 we installed two MERV-15 air filters onto our HVAC system.
We have also purchased three High Capacity HEPA Filters.
These units will run continuously during our shared worship.

We Are Still Requiring the Use of Masks In Our Building

The CDC relaxed their guidance for indoor mask use on February 25th.  One of the rationales that I heard: We want to give people a break from wearing masks now, so that if we need to put them back on later, people will be more willing to comply.  I don't feel the need to argue their logic, but I do think that we are operating with some different assumptions at St. Andrew's.  We have children who cannot yet be vaccinated.  We have people with multiple underlying medical conditions that make them extremely susceptible to serious disease.  And many of us know people who have suffered breakthrough infections.  No one has told me that they are staying away from St. Andrew's because we are requiring masks in our buildings, but I have had people tell me that they are staying away from St. Andrew's because the risk for them is still too high.  I don't want to prolong anyone's exile from our building by lifting the masking requirement.  My hope, prayer, and goal, is for all of us to be back in the building together.  And it is my sincere belief that we, as a community, are willing to bear the small inconvenience of wearing a mask so that the rest of our family can feel safe about rejoining us.

The Vestry met this past Wednesday and we agreed that we would continue to require masks in the building, revisiting the issue at our next meeting on March 30th.  Please continue to practice caution, stay safe, and in so doing, keep your family and friends safe as well.

Peace,
Andy+

Sunday Services

8:00am

The early service is the smaller of our two Sunday services and includes a sermon and spoken Rite II Eucharist. With no music, this service has a more quiet and contemplative feel.

10:30am

The second service is a Rite II Eucharist with music and a sermon. During the academic year, the St. Andrew's Choir leads us in congregational singing.

Online Church

We remain committed to live-streaming our Sunday worship services for all who are unable to attend in-person.
Join us online at 10:30am on Sundays.
